Conservation
"A tree can live for 100 years and then for another
1000 years as a beam in a fine building or as a piece of
craftsman-made furniture"

PETER GARTHWAITE O.B.E.

There are many neglected woods capable of growing high quality timber, if properly and continuously managed.  It is with the rescue and rehabilitation of these woods, that Woodland Heritage is especially concerned.

Woodland Heritage works with schools and young people to ensure that the next generation will have the knowledge, skill and respect for trees which is so necessary for the future of British Forestry and our environment.

We at The Oak Window Company are proud to be associated with 'Woodland Heritage'. We fully support & sponsor the ongoing work towards tree conservation they do.
